New for 2010! Plus is now called Extra, and is part of the AYSO Flex program.
New for 2010! Section 11 is administering the AYSO Extra League.

Area 11-Q regions may create plus teams for age divisions U10, U11, U12, U13 and U14. This league is administered by Section 11 and involves teams from any region within those areas. Teams may play games from Long Beach to Placentia to San Clemente and all cities in between.

The extra season begins the Saturday after Labor Day in September and continues through November or December. Most regions form teams in the spring through a try-out process. Please contact your region to determine try-out dates and procedures. Area 11-Q regions are listed on the Area Q Regions page. Players may not play on both a extra team and a fall core team.

Competition Rules

Please review the posted rules of play each season. The competition format may change each year as the competition directors change or other factors.

Coaches and their teams are responsible for knowing and abiding by all rules of play.

In 2010, Section 11 is administering the Extra Season.
